Recreational Sports
Recreational sports at The University of Alabama offer a large variety of activities and recreational pursuits. Clubs can be competitive, recreational, instructional or a combination of these elements. Participate in organized competitions against other schools' sport club teams, or play on intramural teams who compete against each other within the Alabama community. You can also enjoy guided outdoor trips and an indoor climbing facility or rent outdoor equipment and bicycles.
Named one of the “Coolest College Recreation Centers in America” by Men’s Health, the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center provides state-of-the-art fitness for Auburn students. With everything from two 50-foot climbing towers to a 1/3-mile corkscrew track, the Recreation and Wellness Center is the perfect place for students to unwind from the stresses of college.
