WHY ALABAMA OVER AUBURN?
Alabama is tied for rank 96 on US News and World Report's National University list, placing it within the top 100 schools in the nation. Auburn is rank 102, putting them outside the top 100 schools in the nation. Both schools also have similar costs when it comes to in-state tuintion, but when it comes to out of state, Alabama is $3000 cheaper than going to Auburn, while also being a full 10000 students larger. Another plus to the University of Alabama is that they do rolling admissions, meaning that you know if you are accepted as soon as your application is processed, rather than having a single date when every application is due and having to wait until a later set date to find out if you have been admitted or not like Auburn does. Due to the quality of it's applicants, Alabama also has a lower acceptance rate than Auburn, 51% compared to 84%.
