Alabama has more varsity athletics programs than Auburn, offering 21 varsity sports programs, compared to the 19 of Auburn. Alabama also has 26 National titles across all of it's sports programs, compared to the mere 22 of Auburn. Alabama wins division titles in the SEC across all of it's programs, with especially it's Golf and Gymnastics programs performing well in recent years. Auburn only has one other sports program that has put up results in recent memory, which is their swim and dive program. Results for their other 17 programs are basically nonexistent. Alabama student athletes are some of the top student athletes in academics as well. They are eight in the nation for Academic-All Americans since the year 2000, and have every single team have an above average APR with several perfect scores. Auburn only has two teams that are in the top percentile for academic performance, and they are hiding the numbers for all of their other teams, trying to draw the attention to their two highest performing teams when it comes to academics.
